Putting <3 on a message a big deal?

so ive been meeting a girl, we were out together last night, when we got home we were texting about how much we like eachother, shes so happy to have found me and just how things are perfect for us. We both admitted to be completely fallen for eachother and its not the same without us being together. So she is leaving somewhere for a few days and said she cant wait to come home to see me. I wished her a good night and put <3 at the end of the message. I didnt get a reply, she hasnt replied to me before but then texted the next morning to say she fell alseep, i know she had to get up very early and wont have her phone over the next few days but i just thought maybe it was too much and she took it the wrong way? but we have said that weve never felt this way before etc
