Why does my rabbit do this and is it serious?

My rabbit lets me pick up easy enough, but when I stroke his head, at the bottom of the ears (The big bone the is attached to the head) he pushes his head on my hands (So is head goes back like when you hypnotize them) I am a bit worried because it might be serious! Please could you answer both of the questions above?
