Virginia Tech Help?!?
Hi, i live in fairfax county, where a 94-100 is an A, and a B+ is 90-93. I got a 1800/2400 on my PSAT exam. i just complteted my spre year with about a 3.625 average, and i have all honors and one AP, three B+s, three A's, and a C+ (82) in spanish. i was just wondering, if i lived in most other counties, my GPA wud be like 3.85, much higher than it is now. will V Tech take that into account? i know they will not completely recalculate the GPA, but will they be more lenient towards me about this?cuz in reality, only one grade is below 90, even tho my gpa seems low thanks to this county, and 3.625 doesn't quite match up to their 3.8 standard. i'm shooting for a pretty high SAT score in the 2100's. thanks for ur time.
