Aren't English speakers proud of their language. The standard of English on Y!A suggests otherwise.?

I must admit I do agree with you. The standard and quality of English that some people speak is appalling. There's no excuse. People always get their phones wrong and the majority of them haven't quite discovered when to use an apostrophe. These are just some of the things that really annoy me on Yahoo! answers. I totally agree. Just by looking at the quality of their English, you would automatically ume that English surely cannot be their first language. Unfortunately, that's not true. I'm really glad you noticed.
