How do I get firmware for my Samsung BD-UP5000 Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo player?

I recently rented Avatar on blu-ray, and it wouldn't play. After looking around online, I found out that the model I have isn't compatible without new firmware. I've never downloaded firmware before, so I'm not sure what to do. I checked Samsung's website, and they offered some firmware for it, but I didn't see it for Mac OS X, which is what i have. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
