How will the "past" affect future relations between India..and the UK government & monarchy?

You know dear Minerva, one does not think that India will be the next great power - not if their appalling handling of our glorious Commonwealth Games is anything to go by. If you ask me, that country has not been the same since we left it. We gave them a most wondrous infrastructure of rail and roads but they have wasted their opportunities dear girl. No, the only solution is for India to rejoin the Empire by peaceful means or by force, if necessary. I shall be having a word with her Majesty The Queen about the position of Viceroy. One strongly fancies ones chances of getting the job, dear Minerva!
