I would think it would be a healthier option than the Atkins diet. I eat mostly veggies, without all the fatty add ons like gobbs of cheese, sour cream, er, etc. (maybe just a little) and found it was better for my weight stability than this Atkins diet that I"ve been on for 2 weeks. I've GAINED one pound, but maybe that's because the switch from one to the other was a weird chemical direction, but I really don't know that.
